Wed-15-Feb-17   Half Day Walk Sherbrooke Forest Commencing at the Micawber Tavern we wind our way up the western edge of Sherbrooke Forest to Ferny Creek.  We then walk along bushy tracks to Sherbrooke Picnic Ground and descend past Sherbrooke Falls to our starting  point. 8 km Easy
Sat-18-Feb-17   Half Day Walk Blackburn Lake Sanctuary We will start with a walk around Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, then walk over to Furness Park and Kalang Park where we will loop around Blacks Walk and return through the parks to Blackburn Lake. Wed-29-Mar-17   Day Walk Kilcunda - Desalination Plant A  walk along the rail trail  east from Kicunda for about 2km, then down to the mouth of the Powlett river. A  walk along Williamsons beach follows.  We then walk around the Desal plant reserve viewing the plant itself before returning to our starting point. Great views but exposed in places. 18 km Medium

Tue-04-Apr-17   Bike Ride City A circuit ride on bike paths starting at East Malvern station along Gardiners creek trail to  the Main Yarra Trail to Dights Falls then joining the Merri Creek path and continuing past the Zoo and onto Docklands and Southbank.  We will have coffee along the  way and lunch on the banks of the Yarra before heading back to our starting point. You can leave the ride in the city if prefered. 50 km easy/ medium

Wed-12-Apr-17   Day Walk Bunyip State Park Circuit walk starting at Mortimers Picnic Ground following bush tracks through forest and tree fern gullies to Four Brothers Rocks, a collection of granite rocks with sweeping views over the park. Wed-05-Jul-17   Day Walk Banksia Park and Heide The walk is in 3 sections. We first walk along the Yarra Trail to Sills Bend and back for morning tea. We then walk the two loops of Banksia Park. After lunch we stroll through Heide Park and its gardens. 14 km Medium

Wed-12-Jul-17   Day walk Maroondah Aqueduct, Kangaroo Ground We follow the disused aqueduct before getting onto bush tracks that take us to Sugarloaf Dam where we have lunch. On the return journey we hope to be able to able to use another section of aqueduct. 15 km Medium
Wed-12-Jul-17   Historical Walk Parkville An historical walk around Parkville area.  See Warmsley iron house and many charming villas built in the Victorian, Queen Anne and Art Nouveau styles. 12 km Easy
Sat-15-Jul-17   Day Walk Two waterfalls in Lal Lal Forest  near Ballan Highlights of the walk are the spectacular Lal Lal Falls and the beautiful Moorabool Falls. We start with a short tour of  an historic  blast furnace, followed by a walk through Lal Lal State Forest and a visit to an old miner's cottage. After lunch we vist Lal Lal and  Moorabool Falls. Some ups and downs and a short steep climb. 14 km Medium
Sun-16-Jul-17   Day Walk ANDREW HILL - KINGLAKE NATIONAL PARK A sustained medium grade uphill forest walk to the highest point in the NP. The track winds its way around and up Andrew Hill, passing through forests of Mountain Ash, Grey Gum, Blackwood and ferns. Discover natural beauty of area and see if you can  spot any wildlife. 14 km Medium
